Terms Of Use

These terms form a legally binding agreement between Users (“User(s), you, your, customer(s), yourself”) and GET-A PG Private Limited (“GPG, we, us, our”) that govern the use of the website, mobile application and other offerings form GET-A PG which enables the User to connect with us in relation to the services offered through the GET-A PG Platform ("Services").

Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy carefully before accessing, using, obtaining or availing any products or Services by GET-A PG. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use you may refrain from using the GET-A PG Platform and/or Services. Failure to use the Site and Application in accordance with these Terms may subject you to civil and criminal penalties.

GET-A PG reserves the right in our sole discretion, to modify these Terms of Use or change, suspend, or discontinue the Services (including without limitation, the availability of any feature, database, or content) at any time by posting a notice on the Site or by sending you notice through the Services, via e-mail or by another appropriate means of electronic communication at any time. It will be your responsibility to keep yourself updated with the Terms of Use from time to time, your continued usage of the GET-A PG Platform and Services would be deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and the modifications thereto.

What is GET-A PG?

GET-A PG facilitates its visitors to search and book properties to accommodate through its platforms (website & mobile application or any other platforms owned by GET-A PG) and services. Such Accommodations are included in Listings on the Web Site, Mobile Application and Services by Hosts. GET-A PG makes available a platform or marketplace with related technology for Guests and Hosts to meet online and arrange for bookings of Accommodations. It also facilitates its registered users/residents to manage their stay through the mobile application. GET-A PG is not an owner or provider of any property other than GPG HOMES, nor a contrating agent or representative of the properties owned or run by other third party owners. GET-A PG does not charge any brokerage fee directly or indirectly from the guest for booking of accommodation. It also discourages, brokers, agents or any other third parties to list any property on behalf of the property owners.

Eligibility to use

A user must be minimum eighteen (18) years of age or above for using the platform and services as per these terms & conditions. In case of the underage individuals, the parents/guardians should give the permission to do so and a physical declaration form for the same will be signed by the parents/guardians and submit to the property owner/manger. The property owner/manager is responsible to get the signature of the parents/gurdians. In case of deafault, GET-A PG reserves the right to refuse or terminate access of the platform and services to such users.

Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use personal information, how personal information is shared, and privacy rights. When You use our Website, We collect and store your personal information which is provided by You from time to time. We are not in the business of selling the personal information collected by Us from You. We use Your information in order to deliver services to You through the Platform including delivery of services. For furhter information regarding privacy you can check out at our Privacy Policy.

1. Scope of our Services

The GET-A PG Platform offers an online venue that enables users to search for, and book stay services at GET-A PG branded properties. The GET-A PG offers stay services to its users by offering the following products:

  1. A) GPG HOMES: Properties exclusively owned/rented and run/managed by the GET-A PG private limited.
  2. B) GPG HOMES PARTNER: Properties owned and run/manged by the third parties as per operating standard laid down by the GET-A PG’s terms & conditions.
  3. C) GET-A PG REGISTERED MEMBERS: Resigtared under and verified properties by GET-A PG as per agreed terms with GET-A PG Private Limited.

2. Searching and Booking policy

To use and avail the sevices of GET-A PG platform, the person needs to download the GET-A PG mobile application through PLAY STORE/APP STORE by registering with their mobile number and some other basic details. After the completion, a person can search and book a property.

A person can confirm a room/seat through two processes

  1. 1) Using GET-A PG app
  2. 2) Direct to the Property Owner/Incharge
  • assured icon To book a room/seat, the customer needs to mandatorily install the GET-A PG app and sign-up as resident using their mobile number followed by a KYC form.
  • assured icon The person needs the KYC form filled up and upload the following doccuments:
    1. 1) Government photo ID/address proof.(PAN card not aplicable)
    2. 2) Vaccination Certificate. (COVID-19)
  • assured icon After completing the KYC process the person should apply for the booking confirmation.
  • assured icon The confirmation of the booking will be completed only after the property owner/incharge accept the request.
  • assured icon To confirm a booking, customers need to pay a minimum booking amount laid by the property owner/manager.
  • assured icon However at the time of move in or onboarding the accommodation, the customer needs to clear all the oustanding dues viz. advance rent, registration/admission fee, security deposit ect. whichever may be applied by the property owner/manager.
  • assured icon There is no lock-in period. However, the resident has to raise the move-out request a minimum of 30 days prior to the move-out date.

3. Renting and Payment terms

GET-A PG never sets, or collects rent or any kind of payment from the customers other than for the GPG HOMES. The GPG HOMES PARTNER and GET-A PG REGISTERED MEMBERS are reponsible for setting and collection of rent and any other payments from the customers. The mode of payment is to be provided by the property owrner/manager. To avail the receipt of the payment, the resident needs to update the payment status through the GET-A PG app and the same need to be acknowledged by the property owner/manager.

  • assured icon Monthly rent is calculated from first to the last day of the month. For the move-in month, the advance rent will be calculated on a pro-rata basis depending on the day of booking.
  • assured icon Monthly rent is mandatorily to be paid latest by 7th of every month.
  • assured icon In case of delay in rent payment, penalty charges may be laid down by the property owner/manager, if rent remain unpaid untill the 15th of the month, the property owner/manager has the right to take any decision in the interest to maintain a smooth running of the business.
  • assured icon At any given point of time in guest’s stay, the rent cannot be adjusted from the Security Deposit.
  • assured icon Electricity charges, if applicable, are payable monthly as post payment will be billed along with rent.
  • assured icon In any case of revise of the rent by the property owner/manager or GPG HOMES due to unavoidable circumstances the resident will be informed a minimum of 30 days prior to the revision.

4. House Rules

The house rules may vary from property to property. The owner of the property can set a bunch of rules to be obeyed by the residents while staying under his/her roof. However GETA PG has laid down some mandatory rules to be abide by during the stay. In case of offended of the rules, the proerty owner/manger or GET-A PG authority has the right to terminate the offender from the premises.

  • assured icon All the residents are prohibited from giving unauthorised sheltter inside the premises without any prior permission of the property owner/manager.
  • assured icon Allowing the entry of opposite gender inside the premises is upon the decesion of the property owner/manager.
  • assured icon Residents are not allowed to use the premises to run any kind of commercial activity.
  • assured icon The residents are strictly prohibited from keeping any fire-arms, lethal weapons, poisonus things or intoxicants of any kind inside the premises.
  • assured icon In any case of suspect, the property owner or the authorised person has the right to check the room immediately.
  • assured icon If found anything default, the owner or the authorised person can report against the defaulter to the local police.
  • assured icon The residents are reponsible for the safety of their own belongings. GET-A PG or the property owner/manager is not responsible for any misplacement or theft.
  • assured icon If any damages done by the resident to the property the cost will be borne by the resident and need to compensate immediately.
  • assured icon The residents should not create any kind of dispute or disturbance inside the premises at any circumstances.
  • assured icon All the residents undertake not to attempt or induce or abet or intuce any other person to commit suicide or any kind of self harm.
  • assured icon The property owner/manager and GET-A PG are not responsible in any terms in such incident.

5. Move-out and Security Deposit Refund Policy

At the time of move out of a resident the property owner/manager is liable to complete the full & final settlement of the resident. In case of the GPG HOMES, GET-A PG shall complete the full & final settlement of the resident. GET-A PG shall not liable for any settlement for the residents of the GPG PARTNER and GET-A PG REGISTERED MEMBERS. At the time of move-out, the resident is responsible for leaving an Accommodation (and related personal property) in the condition it was in when he/she arrived.

  • assured icon A resident needs to raise the move-out request mandatorily through the GET-A PG app at least before 10th of the move out month.
  • assured icon The ultimate move out date of the resident will be the last date of the notice month.
  • assured icon The resident needs to pay the rent of the move out month in full.
  • assured icon Security Deposit would not be adjustable with the rent in any case.
  • assured icon The Security Deposit will be refunded on the day of move-out after inspection of the room is done.
  • assured icon In case of any damages to the propety by the resident, the cost of the damages will be forfeited from the Scurity Deposit.
  • assured icon In case of early move out, the rent paid for the move out month will not be refunded.
  • assured icon Any request to extend the stay or cancel the move-out request needS to be made within aperiod of minimum of 10 days before the last date of the move-out month thrgough the GET-A PG app. .
  • assured icon Extension request for the same accomodation is subject to availibility. If there is no availability of accomodation at the same property, the property owner/manager can refuse the request and the resident has to vacate the room/seat without any dispute.
  • assured icon In case of availability of other accomodation, the property owner/manger can offer the avilable accomodation to the resident.
